Sandra Faye Griffin Martin, a beloved soul known for her years as a convenience store cashier, passed away in her sleep on March 4, 2024, in Liberty. Born on 10, 1946, in Houston, Texas, Sandra leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness that touched the lives of many.

In her early years, Sandra dedicated herself to serving her community as a dependable and friendly cashier and a member of the Catholic Faith. Her bright smile and gentle demeanor made her a favorite among customers and colleagues alike. Beyond her professional life, Sandra found immense joy in two main passions - gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Sandra is survived by her loving children, a son Kenneth Martin and a daughter Patricia Traywick and son-in-law Darrin. Her presence will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Chelsi Patterson and her husband Kevin, Thomas Martin, and Alizabeth Martin. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren Anthony Lee Patterson, Lilly Ann Traywick, and Dawson Traywick.

In the embrace of heaven, Sandra reunites with her father Robert Simmons Griffin and mother Louella Norman Griffin. She is also survived by her sister Katherine Postel and brother-in-law Pete. In addition to her immediate family, Sandra leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who were all touched by her kindness.

Sandra's life was a testament to love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to those she held dear. Although she may have departed from this world, the memories of her laughter and love will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
