Pace-Stancil Funeral Home 1304 North Cleveland Dayton, Texas 77535 936-258-5300     936-258-5653 fax pacestancildayton@sbcglobal.net Wednesday, July 06, 2011 Sandra “Sissy” Elaine Snider, 56, of Rusk died Saturday, June 18, 2011 in Houston, Texas.  She was born October 20, 1954 in Houston to parents, Samuel Elmer and Russie Ann Snider.  She attended San Jacinto Community College and served in the U.S. Navy.  Sissy was employed as a technician for NASA in Clear Lake. She loved the beach, sailing, gardening, and woodworking.  A celebration of Sissy’s life was held by her family and friends.  Arrangement were entrusted to Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Dayton.  She was preceded in death by her father and is survived by her mother, Russie A. Avant of Rusk; her sister:  Kim A. Snider and Johnny R. Davis of Rusk; her brothers:  Samuel Snider and Jana of Berryville, Randy A. Snider & Mignonne of Rusk, and Johnny R. Vestal and Lela of Alto; her aunt and uncle:  Lela and Adolph Johnson of Liberty; also numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
