Ruthie Mae Blue

Ruthie Mae Blue, age 93, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010. She was born in Plum Grove area, in Montgomery County, Texas on January 4, 1917 to Ocieola and Rosa Evelyn Sherrouse who preceded her in death along with her loving husband, Delmer Blue; brothers, Albert Sherrouse, Luke Sherrouse, Angus Sherrouse, and Herbert Sherrouse.
Mrs. Blue was a member of First Baptist Church of Cleveland; she work eleven years as Dietician Manager at Cleveland Regional Hospital. She will always be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include Rosa Marie Heintschel-Malcolm, Jerry-Ann Armstrong, Betty Ruth Hammond and husband, Bill; son, Douglas Blue and with Carolyn; step-daughter, Kathleen Hayes; step-son, Dean Blue; sister, Beatrice Tidwell; eighteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving and caring family members and treasured friends throughout the years.
No Visitation will be held. Bro. Tim Holder will preside over funeral services held Saturday, July 17, 2010, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment immediately following at Wells Cemetery.
