Ruth Estelle Mize

Ruth Estelle Mize, age 89 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016. She was born January 10, 1927 in Nederland, Texas to parents Cassandra Faye Gardner and James (Jim) Sellers who preceded her in death along with her husband, Johnnie Mize; brothers, Delbert Yarber, Leroy Yarber and A.J. Yarber; sister, Clara Faye Bridler; daughter, Mary Jane Mize Burwick; granddaughter, Heather Caughman Hudman; infant grandson, John David Patterson.

Survivors include her daughters, Glenda Mize Farmer and husband Steve, Pat Mize Locke and husband Lance; sons, Johnny Mize, Jr. and wife Sarah, Jerry Mize and wife Barbara, Tom Mize; twenty-one grandchildren, fifty-six great-grandchildren, thirty-three great great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon – 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Ryan Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
