Russell Coleman Tapp, age 91, and a resident of Tomball, Texas, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013. He was born on March 23, 1922 in Humble, Texas to parents Coleman C. and Bernice Mattie Tapp who preceded him in death along with his loving wife Elsie Tapp and his brother Earl Tapp. Mr. Tapp was a distinguished WWII Veteran of the United States Army Air Corp. He retired after 30 years of service with the Cleveland Postal Service. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and steadfast friend; he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with Bro. Carl Williamson officiating. Survivors include his sons Larry Tapp and wife Mary, James Tapp and wife Tina; grandchildren James A. Tapp, John Tapp and wife Starla, Rebecca Flory and husband Adam; great-grandchildren Savannah Tapp, Paige Tapp, Dawson Snead, and Wyatt Snead; numerous other cherished family members and faithful friends throughout the years.
