Ruby Mae Terrell

Ruby Mae Terrell, age 82 and a lifetime resident of the Tarkington/Splendora, Texas area, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013. She was born September 28, 1930 in Splendora, Texas to parents Fred Washington Burrow and Oma Matthews Burrow who preceded her in death along with her devoted husband of 30+ years L.C. Terrell; her daughter Patricia Ann Brunson; and her step-son Charlie Terrell. Ruby was blessed with a heart full of love. She and her friends enjoyed traveling and gambling. She was kind and giving, sweet and loving, tender hearted and deeply devoted to her family. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, she loved her donkeys, her babies the cows and her K-9 companion “Cindy”. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, tireless grandmother and steadfast friend. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Survivors include her sons Billy G. Knight, Ernie Knight and wife Jenny; sisters Virginia “Sister Girl” Cannon, Oma Jean Waters and husband Kenneth; her best friend from childhood, Alice Pearl; numerous grandchildren,great-grandchildren,and many other cherished family members and faithful friends throughout the years. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 04, 2013, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Rev. Kristal Alldredge will preside over funeral services being held Friday, July 05, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment following at Ryan Cemetery. Pallbearers include Terry Knight, Ernest “Boo” Knight, Shane Knight, Walon Knight, Jeremy Knight, Joseph Brunson, Kenny Bruner, and Charlie Bryan Terrell.
