Ruby F. Beamon Wilson

Ruby Faye Yates Wilson, 96, of Houston died Friday, December 20, 2013 at home. She was born March 15, 2017 in Eureka, Texas to parents Birt Pascal Yates and Lovie Byrd Yates and had lived in Houston since 1948 after moving from Corsicana. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Market Street Baptist Church and enjoyed square dancing, cooking, fishing and her yard. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Dayton. Visitation will be 9:00 to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service on Thursday. Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Eureka Cemetery in Eureka, Texas. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children: Otho C. Beamon, Sr., her husband Bobby J. Wilson, sons Otho C. Beamon, Jr. and Donald C. Beamon, Sr., granddaughter Mitzy R. Kimbrell Roth, grandson Donald C. Beamon, Jr., six brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter: Ella Mae Beamon Matthews and Gary Korhorn of Houston; her grandchildren: Mae Dean Cockerham and husband Dennis, Thursa Faye Kimbrell, Lovie Precious Graves, and Shawn Ivey Beamon; daughter-in-law: Melva Beamon; sister: Mary Sullins; numerous great and great great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
