Royce Weldon Thomas Sr., age 75, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away, Thursday, September 29, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Houston, Texas on July 6, 1936 to parents, Milton J. and Lorene Thomas who preceded him in death along with his sons, Royce Thomas Jr. and Michael Thomas and a granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 a.m., Sunday, October 02, 2011 at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment following at Cleveland Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. prior to service.
Survivors include his daughter, Brenda Gail Fowler; grandchildren, Josh and Tiffany; brothers, Milton C. “Bill” Thomas and wife, Pat, Burl Thomas and wife, Ruth, B.J. Thomas and wife, Martha; numerous other cherished family members and faithful friends.
