Roy Smith

Roy Steven Smith, age 75 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016. He was born October 22, 1941 in Humble, Texas to parents John and Mary Smith who preceded him in death along with his daughter, Stephani Smith; grandson, Ryan Lorenz; brothers, John Weldon Smith and Harold Smith; and sister, Patricia “Toots” English.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Smith of Cleveland; daughters, Cindy and Butch Lorenz of Leander, Connie Hill and friend Bubba Wright of Sour Lake, Carolyn and Joe Hunter of Tarkington, JoAnna Tones and Joseph Hall of San Antonio; son, Keith Smith of Willis; grandchildren, David and Brandy Lorenz, Seth Hill, Ashley and Lee Lindsay, Katie Hunter, Corbin Tones, Shelby Sandel, Brittney Nicholas, John Smith and Stephani Smith; great-grandchildren, Katelyn and Bradley Lorenz, Baylor Lindsay, Abigail, Liam and Everleigh Nicholas-Mills; sisters, Audrey Ramsey of Katy and Louise Page of Cleveland; numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2016 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, December 23, 2016 at Rice Cemetery, Leggett, Texas. For those desiring, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the First United Methodist Church, Cleveland, Texas.
