Roy "Randy" Shafer

Roy Randall Shafer “Randy”, age 72 of Conroe, Texas, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2017. He was born November 14, 1944 in Houston, Texas to parents William and Thelma Shafer who preceded him in death along with his sister, Cora Blystone; daughter, Angela Watkins; and grandson, Dustin Derryberry.

Survivors include his wife, Donna L. Shafer; daughters, Randa Pierce and husband Robert, Toni Drews and husband Roy, Jenny Reynolds, Tresa Carroll and husband Troy; sisters, Juanita Stegall, Mary Jo Burton and Jean Greenhouse; brother, William Ray Shafer; grandchildren, Chapman Marlow, Kara Drews, Trey Drews, Sarah Drews, Dylan Drews, Jessica Guidry, Ransom Watkins, Alexis Reynolds, Brandy Reynolds, Austin Lanning, Caleb Carroll and Zoey Carroll; great-grandchildren, Kadyn Harrison, Gladys Drews, Piper Drews, Axel Trexler, Estephanie Escobar, Melanie Escobar and Elijah Thomas Reynolds; many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Plum Grove Cemetery, Plum Grove, Texas.
