Roy Lum

Roy E. Lum, age 78, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away, Sunday, December 19, 2010. He was born October 27, 1932 in Macadonia, Texas to Willie Erastus and Myrtle Corrine Lum who preceded him in death along with his brother, Wayne; and sisters, Hazel and Joyce; granddaughter, Kathy Lynn Lum. Survivors include his loving wife, Virginia Lee Johnson Lum; son, Bobby Lum and wife, Charlotte; daughters, Brenda Spangler and husband, Danny, Patricia Yeager and husband, James, Angelia Edwards and husband, Kevin, sister, Camilla Martinez, Wanda Faye Driskell; brother, Gerald Lum, and Bruce Lum, Grandchildren, Tina Chandler, Roy Lum, Jacy Kelley, Barrett Lum, Christian Godkin, Chantel Lum, Brandy Pate, Jessica Currie, Shawn Spangler, Faith Godkin, Shane Lum, Jordan Edward Lum; great-grandchildren, Breanna Kelley, Wade and Eli Currie, Abigail and Eva Pate, Daniel, Dylan, and Erin Pate, Zachery Patrick; numerous nieces, nephews, and other cherished family members and treasured friends throughout the years. Bro. A.V. Walters presided over funeral services held Wednesday, December 22, 2010, 10:00 a.m., at Pace-Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Lum Garden of Memories, Macadonia, Texas. Pallbearers included Roy Austin Lum, Barrett Lum, Shawn Spangler, Danny Spangler, James Yeager, and Kevin Edwards; honorary pallbearers included Larry Ferguson, Melvin Eason, Ricky Lum, David Woodard, and Robert Parker (Bird Nest).
