Roy Lee Rolison, 73 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, June 3 2014. He was born August 31, 1940, in Eustace, Texas, to parents, Roy Franklin Rolison and Ora Lee Harrington Rolison. Mr. Rolison was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Mary Alice Meadors Rolison; daughter, Julie Litzler and husband Ron; son, Jeff Rolison; sisters, Betty Kopecky and husband Lonnie, Geraldine Fleck and husband Marcus; brother, Delwin Rolison and wife Joy; grandchildren, Megan, Cody, and Nicole Rolison, Aaron and Tyler Litzler; numerous nieces, nephews, a host of other family members and friends. Mr. Rolison served his country proudly in the United States Navy from November 9, 1961 to November 8, 1967. He received the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal – Vietnam and the 1st Good Conduct Medal Award for period ending November 8, 1965. He loved tractors, gardening, woodworking, traveling and music. Roy lived a well-rounded life, was loved beyond measure and will be missed by all. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 7, 2014, 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with graveside following at Ryan Cemetery, Tarkington, Texas.
