Roy Clarence Lasyone, Jr., 69, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, 14, 2016, in Dayton.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 19, 2016, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home with services concluding thereafter. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Roy was born November 17, 1947 in Pineville, Louisiana, to parents; Roy C., Sr. and Dorothy Grey Lasyone, a former resident of Houston, and has resided in Dayton for the past 20 years. He was a graduate of the Montgomery High School, a veteran of the US Army with service during Vietnam, and a heavy equipment operator for Republic Services for over 44 years. He also enjoyed his grandchildren sports activities, his work, and spending time with family and friends.
Mr. Lasyone was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Dwain “Willie” Lasyone, and niece: Tanisha Roberts. He is survived by his son: Jeremiah Lasyone and wife Katie of Georgetown, daughters: Jessica Lasyone of Illinois, Nicole Prasek and husband Leon of Rosanky, Hope Lasyone of Dayton, Jordan Lasyone of Dayton, and Danielle Lasyone, sister: Darlene Johnson of Louisiana, grandchildren: Hayden and Kamryn Lasyone, Bradyn, Ethan, and Colton Prasek, numerous other relatives, and friends.
