Rose Marie Hubble

Rose Marie Kathan Hubble, 85 of Dayton died Sunday, May 26, 2013 at home. She was born May 20, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI to parents Harry Gordon and Margaret Thibadeau Kathan. She managed many businesses including a catering service, a family farm, a motel and worked in retail. Rose was a member of the St. Mattias Catholic Church in Milwaukee and she enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, and doing community service. Service will be 3:00 p.m., Friday, May 31, 2013 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Larry Terrell officiating. Interment will follow at Palms Memorial Park in Dayton. Mrs. Hubble was preceded in death by parents, son Terry Hubble, great-grandson John Satterthwaite, great-grandson John Easter, sisters Ruth Burke, Sarah Schurchardt, and Shirley Lofy, brothers Hershel and Lamar Kathan. She is survived by her brother Gilbert Kathan and wife Ann and sister June Christienson and husband Richard of Milwaukee, WI; daughters Twyla Satterthwaite and husband Mike of Shreveport, LA and Tami Payne and husband David Thacker of Dayton; and her son: Bryan Hubble and wife Pat of Gainseville, GA; her grandchildren: Mike Satterthwaite, David Satterthwaite, Brandy Easter, Zachary Hubble, Wendy Mott, Phillip Hubble, Jase Payne and Kaitlyn Mayfield; 15 great-grandchildren; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
