Rose Marie Edwards

Rose Marie Edwards, age 85, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away, Friday, August 12, 2011. She was born January 3, 1926 in Davis Hill Community, Shepherd, Texas to parents, Valentine and Marie Stemberger who preceded her in death along with her husband, J.C. “Blackie” Edwards; sisters, Frances Sivcoski, Amelia Troha; and her brother, Louis Troha.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Bill Edwards and wife, Patti, Paul Wayne Edwards and wife, Beth, Bobby Joe Edwards and wife, Karen; sister, Mary Ann Irwin; brothers, Tony Stemberger and Valentine Stemberger; grandchildren, Travis Edwards, Tara Vines, Talaya Trout, Elizabeth Ramey, Kimberly Bell, Rollie Norman, Cullen Edwards, Jace Edwards; great-grandchildren, Kenney, Connor, Piper, Hudson, Blaise, and Carson; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and faithful friends throughout the years.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 14, 2011, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 15, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, Shepherd, Texas with interment following at Shepherd City Cemetery.
