Ronald L. Ronnie Holleman, 82, of Liberty, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2015, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 31, 2015, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Hardin Chapel Cemetery in Hardin. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.
Ronnie was born August 2, 1933 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to parents; Robert and Trudy Penniston Holleman, a former resident of Deer Park, and has resided in Liberty for the past 33 years. He was a graduate of the Shawnee High School and veteran of the US Navy with service during Korea. Mr. Holleman held membership in the North Main Baptist Church, Shriner, and Liberty Masonic Lodge #48 AF/AM. He also enjoyed carpentry, camping, and travel.
Mr. Holleman was preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Trudy Penniston Holleman, daughter: Sherry Hancock, and grandson: Scotty Woods. He is survived by his wife of 35 years: Bobbye Lloyd Holleman of Liberty, daughters: Toni Alexander and husband Charlie of Dayton, Barbie Martinez and husband Michael of Silsbee, Wanda Flannagan of Beaumont, and Lori Weseman and husband Gary of Hutto, son: Eddie Holleman and wife Kim of Deer Park, sister: Beverly, grandchildren: Justin, Travis, Kelsi, Kaitlyn, Amanda, Zachary, Cara, Michelle, Samantha, Casey, and Madison, great-grandchildren: Abigail, John Michael, Wyatt, Grace, and Tailor, great great-grandchild: Tucker, nephew: Wally Ryne and wife Karen, great-nephew: Dennis Ryne, great-niece: Millicent Ryne, and numerous other relatives, and friends.
