Ronald Ralph Wilson, age 74 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018. He was born August 7, 1943 in Houston, Texas to parents Herbert Ralph Wilson and Myrtle Oubre Wilson, who preceded him in death along with his beloved wife of 44 years, Rachel Verneva Wilson; brother, Jerry Don; and sisters, Sylvia, Pat and Joyce.
Ronald is survived by son, Corby Damon Wilson and wife Priscilla; daughters, Kisha Lynn Collins and husband Robert, and Tania Barrientes and husband Victor; brother, Vernon Sandoz and wife Phyllis; sister; Rosemary Camarillo and husband Sal; grandchildren, Jonathan, Jared, Candice, Seth, Corbin, Benjamin, Jacob, Naomi, Blake, Cade, and Brook; great-grandchildren, Jaslynné, Janaé, Kinsley, Thaddeus and River Lynn. Along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He is also survived by his special dog, Duchess.
Mr. Wilson was a veteran of the United States Navy and Air Force, who served 3 tours of duty in Vietnam. He enjoyed watching TV, especially the news. He loved animals and had his own grooming business for 12 years.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the American Legion Post 629 in Camilla, Texas.
Officiating his memorial will be Bro. Zach Currie. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Cade Wilson, Blake Anderson, Seth Golson, Corbin Collins, Benjamin Collins and Jacob Collins.
