Ronald Lynn "Rolo" Patterson

Ronald Lynn “Rolo” Patterson, 55, of Dayton, passed away Monday, January 2, 2023 in Baytown. He was born October 28, 1967 in Baytown to his parents, Ronald Patterson and Linda Joyce Nemy Patterson.

Rolo had lived almost all of his life in Barbers Hill and worked at Mont Belvieu Auto Supply for 40 years. His enjoyments were the Trinity River Marsh, cookoffs, boating, going to the casinos every Sunday with his parents and hanging out with friends. He was the man that would do anything for anyone, loved all people, had a huge heart and loved talking on the phone. He also liked guns and going shooting, taking in strays, animals and humans alike and always had an open door. The distinct voice that he had could be detected amongst large crowds.

Survivors include his parents, Ronald Patterson and Linda Joyce Nemy Patterson; son, Dalton Patterson, daughter, Jenay Patterson and son-in-law, John Farley.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. A service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2023 with Rev, Howie Howeth officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton.

Pallbearers will be Jay Aylor, Ricky Short, Craig Hart, Larry Evans, David Adams, Gary Davis, Mitchell Harmon and Anthony “Bubba” Tiemann. Honorary pallbearer will be Randy Dillard.
