Roberta Ellan Spinks

Roberta Ellan Spinks, age 78, of Conroe, Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at her residence. She was born July 31, 1933 in Woodville, Texas to parents Roy Franklin Dean and Lorene Ellan (Long) Dean. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Johnny L. Spinks and her mother Lorene Hawkins. Survivors include her daughters Sharon Williamson and husband Wayne, Johnni Salinas and husband Jesse; sons Stacy Spinks and wife Sandy, Brad Spinks and wife Cathy; sisters Anna Mize, Pat Morton, Charlotte Blalock, Katherine Whitmire, Barbara Roberts; brothers Jim Groves and Kenneth Dean; grandchildren Joe Johnston, Jason Johnston, Johnni Salinas, Jennifer Jilek, Jessica Kline, Jay Gatley; great-grandchildren Keegan Crawford, Jesse Salinas, Brock Salinas, Hayden Johnston, Jordan Johnston, Carter Johnston, Jalin Johnston, Joey Johnston, Ally Kline, Evan Kline, Shelby Jilek, Nathan Jilek, Ryan Regitz, Gunner Winkler, Gatlin Winkler; her best friend for many years Nathalee Overall; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and a host of faithful friends throughout the years. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 12, 2012, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Graveside services will be held Friday, April 13, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas.
