Robert Louis Daniell, 76, of Dayton, died Thursday, January 9, 2014, at the Pasadena Care Center in Pasadena. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 13, 2014 at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton with graveside services at 3:00 p.m., Monday, at the Jacks Cemetery in Pineland. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Monday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Robert was born November 10, 1937 in Grand Saline, to parents; Louis J. and Floral P. Aly Daniell, a former resident of Pineland, and has resided in Dayton for the past three years. He was a veteran of the US Army with service during Vietnam, a retired truck driver and welder, and member of the Dayton Christian Center. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles. Mr. Daniell was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Patricia Mitchell Daniell, and brother: Donald Daniell. He is survived by his daughter: Amanda Fitzgerald Jordan and husband Wade of Dayton, son: James A. Fitzgerald and wife Yona of Holly Springs, grandchildren: Misty Gray, Candace Silk, Wendy Fitzgerald, William Cantrell, and Ashley Jordan, great-grandchildren: Chloe Gray, Alyssa Whalen, Cheyenne Fitzgerald, Erin Gray, Ivy Silk, Maggie Gray, and Colton Middleton, one brother, one sister, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
