Robert Leon Brown

Robert Leon Brown, age 66 of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Monday, June 28, 2010. He was born in Cleveland, Texas on August 31, 1943 to James Robert and Dessie Gwendylyne Brown who preceded him in death along with his brother, Truman Brown; son-in-law, Stanley Shrader; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ervin and Katherine Lesser, and his special friend, James Starkey. Survivors include his loving wife, Ervie Jean Brown; daughters, Monica Shrader and husband, Edward, Cheri McCullough and husband, Jake; grandchildren, Allison Shrader, Justin Shrader, Zachary Freeze, Hallie Freeze; step-grandchildren, Macy McCullough and Cahl McCullough; brothers, Larry Brown and wife, Donna, Ernie Brown and wife, Paula, sisters, Thelma Mooney, Molly Currie, Martha Scalco and husband, Troy; brother-in-law, Garry Lesser and wife, Paula; numerous nieces, nephews, and many other cherished family members and treasured friends throughout the years. Mr. Dalton Currie and Bro. Preston Baker will preside over funeral services held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 1, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Shepherd, Texas. Interment will follow at Pace-Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens. Pallbearers include Justin Shrader, Garry Lesser, Tony Freeze, Tommy Douglas, E.J. Bailes, Donnie Marrs, and Zachary Freeze.
