Robert K. Greer, 83, passed away at home peacefully on February 6, 2011 in Cleveland, Texas. Mr. Greer was a senior administrator for the Cleveland ISD for 32 years. He was devoted to his faith as a deacon and Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church, and he was a Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary International, and a Free Mason.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bette Hart, daughters, Kathy and husband Bob Dillow of McAllen, Karen and husband Don Bockhorn of Houston, son, Ken and wife Joanne Greer of Katy, seven grandchildren, Scott and Jonathan Dillow, Nick, Brent, and Will Bockhorn, Kayla and Kyle Greer, and three great-grandchildren Caleigh, Ashleigh, and Travis Dillow.

Services for Mr. Greer will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 10, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Cleveland, 400 West Hanson, Cleveland, Texas 77327. There will be a celebration Mr. Greer’s life with the family immediately following the service. Interment will follow, Friday in the Shooks Chapel Cemetery, Sulphur Springs, Texas. Visitation will be 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas.
