Robert J. Mcdaniel

Robert J. McDaniel, age 72 and a resident of Shepherd, Texas, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 at his home. He was born in Kaplan, Louisiana in 1940 to parents James Frank and Olive McDaniel who preceded him in death. He was a welder by trade for much of his life; a jack of all trades; he put his welding to work for him in arts and crafts. He loved his family very much; he’ll be dearly missed. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 40 years Julia McDaniel; sons Cord McDaniel, Billy Jones and wife Angel; daughter Donna McDaniel and husband Kevin Allred; grandchildren Justin McDaniel and wife Amber; his loving kitty “Zonkie” numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and treasured friends. Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 23, 2013, 2:30 p.m. at Farley Chapel Cemetery, Shepherd, Texas. Visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas.
