Rob Thomas

Robin Miller “Rob” Thomas was born May 23, 1955 in Odessa, Texas to parents, Robert I. Thomas Jr and Letha Faye Waters Thomas. Rob passed away in Shepherd, Texas on January 27, 2025 at the age of 69 years. He was surrounded by his family. He was blessed with having a career as a fireman that he loved. He loved working on cars and motorcycles, being a part of his girl’s sports, attending his girl’s and his grandkid’s activities, and playing sand volleyball. He loved music whether it be singing or playing the guitar. He loved the Lord. After a long battle with Parkinson’s, he is rejoicing with his family that was waiting for him. We know that the Lord received him with loving arms.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Inus Thomas and Letha Faye Thomas; sister, Lorna Murray: Wife, Joey Thomas. Rob is survived by his 1st wife, Jodeen Thomas, his beloved daughters, Shawnna Cox and husband Glenn Cox, and Sky Thomas; grandchildren, Thomas Cox, Macy Thomas, and Charles Cox. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, February 8, 2025 in the Pace-Stancil Chapel at 10am in Cleveland, Texas.
