Rita Mae Swindle

Rita Mae Swindle, age 70, a resident of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Friday, November 09, 2012 at Kingwood Medical Center, Kingwood, Texas. She was born July 03, 1942 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to parents Pete and Rose Lucero who preceded her in death. Rita lived life with beauty and grace and a heart full of love. She was kind and giving, sweet and loving, she had a tender heart for animals, and deeply devoted to her family. Rita was a devoted wife and loving mother and steadfast friend. Rita loved life; she loved sitting and looking out her back window at the trees, flowers and birds. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. She will be remembered lovingly by her husband of 48 years Harold Ray Swindle; her son Brett D. Swindle; and her brother Pete Lucero Jr. There will be visitation for family and friends Sunday, November 11, 2012, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas.
