Richard Wayne Lamberth, age 65, of Dayton, Texas, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010. He was born in Houston, Texas on November 4, 1944. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Daniel “Jack” Lambert and “Maxine” Faris Smoot; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harry and Ruth Rawlings; and brother, James Leslie Lamberth. Survivors include his loving wife, Judy Lamberth; sons, Richard Lamberth and wife, D.K., Jody Wayne Lamberth, Daniel Edward Murphy, Billy Wayne Weaver; daughters, Cindy Simmons, Arron Farmer and husband, Sam, Dedra Sawyer and husband, Keith, Amy Hightower and husband, Robert; brothers, Ron Lamberth and wife, Evelyn, Larry Lamberth; sisters, Jackie Nye and husband, Don, Jean Zinke and husband, Jay; sister-in-law, Janette Sorbet; grandchildren, Ashley and Matt Kelley, Kristin Shaw, Lance Corporal Matthew Reno (Retired), Jordan Hutto, Kelsey Williams, Megan Williams, Austin Williams, Courtney Holmes, Jessica Holmes, Rachel Holmes, Dalton Hightower, J.T. Hightower, Lewis Hightower, Keaton Lamberth, Kase Lamberth, Christopher and Amber Farmer; great-grandchildren, Alex Kelley, Tyler Kelley, Aidan Shaw, Bryce Burton, Blake Farmer, Kaleb Farmer, Zane Farmer, and Leighton Farmer, Joseph Murphy, Katlyn Murphy, numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and treasured friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 3, 2010, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home. Funeral services with be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 4, 2010 at Christian Cowboy Fellowship Church, Cleveland, Texas with interment at Ryan Cemetery Cleveland, Texas; Pastor Bobby Trayal will be presiding. Pallbearers include Sam Farmer, Joe Williams, Blake Burton, Keith Sawyer, Lance Cpl. Matthew Reno (Retired, Chad Foy, Joe Don Parish, Matthew Kelley; honorary pallbearers, Caleb Dillon, Gabe Lopez, Billy Weaver, Robert Hightower, Richard H. Lamberth, Robert Smith, Bro. Kenneth Faust.
