Richard Thomas Karm

On Friday, June 17th, 2022, Richard Thomas Karm passed away at the age of 59. He was a loving husband, father, and Pappy to those closest to him.

Richard was born on January 18th, 1963, in Houston, TX to Bobby and Sheila Karm. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and retired after 20 years of service. He married his beautiful wife, Sandy, of 35 years on October 18th, 1986. They raised a daughter and son, Kristina and Shane, together.

Richard can be remembered by most for his quick whit, sense of humor, infectious smile, and kind and compassionate spirit. If he didn’t pick on you, he didn’t like you. He loved participating in dart tournaments, fishing in the bay, and if a Cowboys game was on, you could find him in front of the tv. He loved dogs and was a dog handler during his time in the military. His family was everything to him and he will be missed greatly!

Richard is survived by his wife, Sandy Karm, daughter and her husband, Kristina and Adam Hicks, grandchildren, Bentley and Heath Hicks, and son, Shane Karm. He is also survived by his four brothers, their wives, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 25, 2022, at The Karm Residence 1910 CR 2307 Cleveland, Texas 77327.
