Richard John Mcgee

Richard John McGee, age 51, of New Waverly, Texas, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2010. He was born in Tucson, Arizona on September 1, 1958 to parents, Betsy Ivy Rose McGee and William Martin McGee who preceded him in death along with his brother, Martin McGee. Richard’s passion in life was his family; he was a good husband, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his loving wife, Susan McGee; children, William McGee, Richard McGee and wife, Heather, Jeffery McGee and wife, Tiffiney, Melissa McGee, Justin McGee; grandchildren, Ryle McGee, Cayle McGee, Kacie McGee, and Jacob Abbott; brothers, Michael McGee, Wayne McGee, Terry McGee and wife, Teresa; sisters, Ruth Climer, Trudy and Harold Hopson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other cherished family members and treasured friends beyond measure. Chaplain Ron Ellis will preside over funeral services held Friday, April 23, 2010, 4:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will following at Morgan Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jason Stutes, Jason Hopson, Thomas Sellers, Ryan Sellers, Josh Lee, Steve Nicholas.
