Richard C. Harrington, 24, of Dayton, died Thursday, September 5, 2013, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 9, 2013, at the First Baptist Church of Dayton with burial following at Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Richard was born March 15, 1989 in Baytown, to parents; Stephen L. Harrington and Rhonda S. Ivey, had resided in Kingwood, and Dayton throughout most of his life. He was a graduate of the Dayton High School class of 2007, operated a landscaping business, and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. He also enjoyed playing guitar, reading the bible, hunting, and the outdoors. Mr. Harrington was preceded in death by: great-grandparents: R. N. “Red†Ivey and Edna Melnick, and grandfather: Linas Harrington. He is survived by his mother: Rhonda Ivey Bell and husband Steve of Dayton, father: Stephen Harrington of Kingwood, brothers: Stephen Harrington and wife Amanda of Kingwood and Justin Harrington and fiancé Enemory Martin of Kingwood, stepbrothers: Jeremy Bell and wife Haley of Hockley and Jeffrey Bell of Crosby, grandparents: Doris Harrington of Kingwood and Roger and Janice Ivey of Houston, great-grandmother: Jonell Ivey of Houston, nieces: Kylee Robbins and Lily and Amy Bell, and numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
