Richard Carlos

Richard Carlos was born September 4, 1943 in Cleveland, Texas to parents, Geddie Louis Carlos and Elva Carlos. He went to join his beautiful and beloved wife Lois Ann in Heaven on February 4, 2024 in Splendora, Texas at the age of 80. He was preceded in death by his parents, Geddie and Elva Carlos; his beloved wife of 59 years, Lois Ann Carlos. Richard is survived by his son, Richard E. Carlos and wife Lisa; grandchildren, Brittany Almand, Reese Carlos, Mary Kate Carlos; great-grandchildren, Braydon Reaves and Bryson Almand; brother, Larry; sister, Jane; numerous nieces and nephews. 

He loved his family & friends dearly and enjoyed spending as much time as he could with them. Richard will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved him – including Sally, the newest member of the family. A special word of gratitude to Uncle Larry for rescuing this down on her luck single mom from the side of the road. After vet visits, surgery, prescriptions and regular grooming, she has settled in nicely to her comfortable accommodations.

To our caring and thoughtful neighbors, you are all a blessing from God and will forever be in our prayers – thank you for being so kind!

Visitation will be at Montague Cemetery on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 10:30am-11am. Graveside Service will begin at 11am with Pastor Chester Holloway officiating.
