Rhonald Eugene Teel

Rhonald Eugene Teel (Gene), age 88 of New Waverly, Texas, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017. He was born January 19, 1929 in Willis, Texas to parents James Cecil and Zelphia Gunter Teel who preceded him in death along with his wife, Beverly Jane Teel.

Mr. Teel retired from HL&P in 1984 and was a member of Thee Evergreen Congregational Church in New Waverly, Texas.

Survivors include his daughters, Karren Abshire and husband, Blaine, Janice Grein and husband, Johnny, Rhonda Burleson and husband, David, Lana Foshee and husband, Kevan; grandchildren, Amber and Billy Ingles, Steven Grein, John and Ashley Wilson, Danielle Dees, Mike and Kim Grein, Ron Burleson, Jason Grein and fiancée Vanessa, Jacob and Kathy Abshire, Amanda and Daniel Vaczi, Meredith Moreno, Jackie Saucedo, Wendy Elrod and Melissa Herold; twenty-two great-grandchildren, seven great great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Thee Evergreen Congregational Church P.O. Box 894 Coldspring, Texas 77331 in Rhonald's name.
