Raymond Posey

Raymond A. “Ray” Posey, age 82 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018. He was born October 1, 1935 in Freer, Texas to parents Sidney Posey, Sr. and Ola Mae O’Neill Posey who preceded him in death along with his wife, Kay Dormois Posey; and brother, Sidney Posey, Jr.

Survivors include his wife, Roberta Banks Posey; son, Korby Posey; daughter, Christie Oldal and her husband Mike; grandchildren, Christopher Dodson, Scarlet Dodson, Korey Posey, Leah Posey, and Raelyn Oldal; great-grandchildren, Christian Dodson and Avery Dodson; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., - 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 22, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 22, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas. Graveside service will be at 1:30 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2018 at South Park Cemetery, 1310 N. Main St. Pearland, Texas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children Attn: Office of Development 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL 33607.
