Raymond Michael "Mike" Henderson

Raymond Michael “Mike” Henderson, age 53, of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2010. He was born April 16, 1957 in Cleveland, Texas to parents, Raymond “Red” Derwood Henderson and Virginia Henderson. He is preceded in death by his father. Mike was co-owner/operator of Henderson Electric and well known throughout the Cleveland community and surrounding areas. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends and will surely be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Laneye Henderson; mother, Virginia Henderson; daughters, Lauren Prestridge and husband, Will, Lindsay Burroughs and husband, Jared; brother, Greg Henderson and wife, Cindy; grandchildren, Emma and Lily Prestridge; mother-in-law, Wanda Galloway; brother-in-law, Leslie Galloway; sister-in-law, Lisa and Ronnie Millard; aunt & uncle, Sadie and Don Woodrome; many other loving and caring family members and treasured friends beyond measure. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 07, 2010, 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Rev. Glen Pearce, Rev. Carl Williamson and Rev. Thom Rutledge will preside over funeral services being held Friday, October 8, 2010, 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 216 N. Blair St., Cleveland, Texas. Pallbearers include Doyle Wayne Woodrome, James Ray Woodrome, Scott Parker, Max Wall, Phillip Gates, Adam Carpenter, Darryl Davis, and Bradley Pearce; honorary pallbearers include Jeff Barfield, Frank Ridley, James Norris, Richard Burroughs, Sonny Prestridge, Donny Wall, Danny Snell, and Larry Stone.
