Raymond Louis Moore

Raymond Louis Moore, age 85 and a resident Bismarck, Arkansas, passed away October 01, 2013 at Kingwood Medical Center, Kingwood, Texas. He was born November 30, 1927 to parents Roland and Ima Moore who preceded him in death along with his two brothers and one sister. Mr. Moore was a distinguished Veteran of the United States Army retiring in 1966 after 20+ years of service. He then worked in the oilfield trade until 1984 when he retired and worked on his fishing and hunting skills which came naturally. He loved to be outdoors growing a garden and was delighted to go picnicking at any given time. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather and steadfast friend; he was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Survivors include his loving wife of 55+ years Barbara S. Moore; daughters Valerie R. Miller, Daisy D. Moore; sons George W. Moore, Marty D. Moore; sisters-in-law Gloria Moore, Betty Timmons, Lynn Howard, and Penny Watkins; grandchildren Timothy J. Moore, Gilbert P. Hidalgo, Arianna R. Hidalgo, Emily D. Kearnes, Martin Eugene Kearnes, Roland W. Moore, Mathew D. Moore, and Zachary L. Moore; great-grandchildren Skyelar D. Deselle, Savanna L. Moore, Rylee A. Moore, Spring C. Hidalgo, Aedan R. Hidalgo, Kayla R. Hidalgo, and Lukas J. Taylor; numerous nieces, nephews, and other cherished family members and treasured friends. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 05, 2013, 5:00-9:00, Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. A small service will be held between visitation hours at 7:00 p.m.
