Raymond Benison

Raymond Daniel Benison, age 86 of Houston, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015. He was born September 12, 1929 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to parents Govan and Hettie Benison who preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 37 years and 10 months, Peggy Benison; son, Brian Douglas Benison of Ft. Worth, Texas; step-son, Joe and wife Leah Ellis of Houston, Texas; grandson, Andrew Ellis of Houston, Texas; brother, Herman Benison of Tampa, Florida; brother and sister in law, Sheryl and Jim Reid of New Braunfels, Texas and Rusty and Deborah Barnett of Cleveland, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and his extended Barnett family. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2015 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will follow starting at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 18, 2015 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Interment will follow at Oak Shade Cemetery, Cleveland, Texas.
