Ramona Mcadams

Ramona (Murry) McAdams, age 84, a resident of Bear Creek, Texas, passed away Monday, January 14, 2013 at Kingwood Medical Center. She was born August 29, 1928 in Bear Creek, Texas. She was married to Alfred Pete McAdams who preceded her in death along with her parents Amos and Christine Murry; sister Ruth; and her brothers Harold and David. Ramona lived her life with beauty and grace and a heart full of love. She was a homemaker and family gatherings were always made special with her cooking. She was tender hearted and deeply devoted to her family. She loved playing the piano, she had a musical gift and was truly blessed. She loved the Lord Jesus Christ and was a faithful servant. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a devoted mother to her children Linda Berntson, Diana Elliott and husband Ronnie, Randy McAdams and wife Cathy. She will be remembered lovingly by her sisters Betty Welsh and Sarah Margaret Morton; her grandchildren Brian Criswell, Tracey Sulak, Justin Cole, Celeste Calcote; great-grandchildren Nicole Sulak, Caleb Sulak, Conor Cole, Ciele Cole, Damon Calcote, Tyler Calcote, and Garrett Calcote; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and faithful friends beyond measure. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 16, 2013, 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Pastor Don Stephens will preside over funeral services being held Thursday, January 17, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Bear Creek Baptist Church, Cleveland, Texas with interment following at Bear Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers include Brian Criswell, Daniel Calcote, Anson Brewer, Justin Cole, Mike Welsh, and Jed Sulak.
