Ralph Carroll Villermin

Ralph Carroll Villermin, born on March 15, 1938, in Pilot Point, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025, in Houston. He leaves behind a legacy marked by dedication, service, and love for family and community.

 Ralph enjoyed a distinguished career, retiring as a maintenance manager at the Atlantic Richfield Company, where he was respected by his colleagues and contributed significantly to the operations of the company. His commitment extended beyond his professional life; he was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving his country with honor.

 His passions included woodworking and hunting, pursuits that allowed him to express creativity and enjoy the great outdoors. Ralph was also actively involved in his community, serving as a member of the First Methodist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and Methodist Men, where his spirit of service and camaraderie flourished.

 Ralph is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Lynn Villermin; his daughter, Celia "Missy" Neal, and her husband, Charles; as well as his cherished grandchildren, Blake and Brent Villermin, and Theodore Neal. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Mark, Judah, Anna Lynn, Brantley, and Kinsley Villermin, who brought immense joy to his life.

 He is preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Dixie Villermin; his son, Seth Villermin; and his sister, Rita Szatan. The loss of Ralph is felt deeply by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

 Visitation will be held on February 15, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at the First Methodist Church of Dayton, located at 106 S. Cleveland St., Dayton, TX 77535, at 3:00 PM officiated by Rev. Guy Williams.

 Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Blake Villermin, Brent Villermin, Theodore Neal, Charles Neal, Brantley Villermin, Kinsley Villermin, Mark Villermin, Judah Villermin and Anna Lynn Villermin. 

 Ralph Carroll Villermin’s life was one of service, dedication, and love, leaving behind a profound legacy that will inspire all who were fortunate to know him.
