Ralph Vernon Castleman, age 86 of Cleveland, Texas, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2019. He was born November 20, 1932 in Zavalla, Texas to parents Moody Leroy and Mary Irene Castleman who preceded him in death along with his granddaughters, Brandy Enloe and Rachel Castleman; one sister and three brothers.
Mr. Castleman served in the United States Marine Corps and is a veteran of the Korean War. Ralph was a loving husband who loved his family dearly and also loved the Lord, he was a good Christian man. Some of his interests include, working around the house and in the garden, traveling, fishing, and camping in the mountains. He was known to be a jokester, always pranking his family members.
Survivors include his wife, Sara Castleman; son, Robert and wife Kim Castleman; daughters, Judith Dean and husband Larry, Vicki Fulcher and husband Glen; grandchildren, Jennifer Hoagland, Royce Hoagland, Scott Hoagland, Alicia Enloe, Jason Enloe, Ryan Castleman and Tanar Castleman; brother, Ed Castleman; fifteen great-grandchildren and one on the way, four great-great-grandchildren and one on the way, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Pace Stancil Chapel, Cleveland, Texas. Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Pace Stancil Memorial Rest Gardens, Cleveland, Texas.
