Rachel Verneva Wilson

Rachel Verneva Wilson, age 74 of Coldspring, Texas, passed away at her home on Monday, December 18, 2017 surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Laurel, Mississippi to parents Floyd and Verneva Williamson, who precede her in death. Mrs. Wilson is also preceded in death by her son, Todd Stephen Golson and her sister, Gail Bentley.

Rachel is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Ronald Ralph Wilson; son, Corby Damon Wilson and wife Priscilla; daughter, Kisha Lynn Collins and husband Robert; step-daughter, Tania Barrientes and husband Victor; brother, Hackel Floyd Williamson and wife Valarie; sisters, Sue Lassmann and husband Ruben, Earnestine Hosch, Ann Goodson and husband Frank; grandchildren, Jonathan, Jared, Candice, Seth, Corbin, Benjamin, Jacob, Naomi, Blake, Cade, and Brook; great-grandchildren, Jaslynné, Janaé, Kinsley, Thaddeus and River Lynn. Along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is also survived by her special cats Blossom, Melanie, and Gracie.

Mrs. Wilson loved crafts including making her own Christmas ornaments and crocheting. She also loved working in her garden with her plants.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 4:00 pm in the chapel of Pace Stancil Funeral Home Coldspring, 14250 Hwy 150 West Coldspring, TX 77331.

Officiating her memorial will be Bro. Zach Currie. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Cade Wilson, Blake Anderson, Seth Golson, Corbin Collins, Benjamin Collins and Jacob Collins.
