Phyllis May Coziar

Phyllis May McCune Coziar, 89 of Huffman passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 at home. She was born March 30, 1930 in Pinkneyville, Illinois to parents Elza McCune and Opal Jones McCune.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Palms Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton.

Mrs. Coziar was a resident of Huffman for the past 23 years. She was very active with the May Community Center in Huffman. She was a member of the Garden Club, enjoyed painting and crocheting. She enjoyed playing the Wii and was an accomplished champion at darts.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Coziar, sister Mildred Feltmeyer and brother Robert McCune. She leaves behind to cherish her memories daughters, Deborah J. Borst and husband Scott and Cynthia K. Bonham; son, Michael A. Coziar and wife Clara; sisters, Virgina Harniteaux and Helen J. Bleisch and husband Burnell; grandchildren, Stephen Borst, Scott Borst and wife Brandy, Michael L. Coziar, Melinda Moore and husband Benjamin, Meghan Bonham, and Travis Bonham; great-grandchildren, Adain Cozier, Madeline Moore, Justin Borst, and Paloma Fuentes; numerous other relatives and friends.
