Phyllis Maud Strouse, age 89 of Conroe, Texas passed away Saturday, May 29, 2021. She was born September 9, 1931 in Hastings, Michigan to parents Floyd and Ethel McKay who preceded her in death along with her daughter, Loraine Strouse-Teske; twin-brother, Phillip McKay.
Mrs. Strouse was a member of the Assembly of God faith. She enjoyed cooking, gospel music, and listening to her husband play Accordion.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence Strouse; children, Gary Bryans and wife Imelda, Kim Whitney; grandchildren, Chris Teske and wife Penny, Tonyia Teske, Mechell Waters, Ryan Johnson and wife Natalie, Anita Whitney, and Joshua Whitney; great-grandchildren, Haley Slade, Caitlin Teske, Channon Teske, Harley Slade, Mary Elizabeth Bishop, Genie Bishop, Ann Marie Teske, Arianna Munoz, and Kaylee Hill; great-great-grandchildren, Krystyna Keese, Scarlett Keese, Claire Teague, and Zachary Harber; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2021, at Pace Stancil Chapel in Cleveland with services beginning immediately after at 3:00 p.m.
