Phillip Norman Walker, age 78 and a resident of Point Blank, Texas, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013. He was born in Flint, Texas in 1935 to parents Bryon and Wilma Walker who preceded him in death along with his first wife Patsy Raye Harris Walker; son Norman Ray Walker; brothers Charles Walker, Jerry Walker and Bill Walker; and one sister Martha Sue Springer. Survivors include his loving wife Sue Walker of Point Blank, Texas; daughters Phyllis Wilkins of Salida, Colorado and Peggy Stump of Texhoma, Oklahoma; son Alan Walker of Shepherd, Texas; sisters Wilma Lou Loughin of Henderson, Texas and Shirley Lawson of Point Blank, Texas; daughter-in-law Mary Walker of Texas City, Texas; brother Bobby Walker of Galveston, Texas; brothers-in-law, Alvie Harris of Payton, Colorado and Steve Harris of Penrose, Colorado ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other cherished family members and faithful friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 03, 2013, 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Coldspring, Texas. Rev. Mariann Ryne will preside over funeral services being held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 04, 2013 at Paul Horton United Methodist Church, Stephen Creek, Texas with interment following at Foster Cemetery, Point Blank, Texas. Pallbearers include David Walker, Phillip Walker, Jerry Finlay, Danny Stump, Billie Stump, and John Mann.
