Phillip Doyle Baird Sr

Phillip Doyle Baird Sr was born June 1, 1939 in Santa Anna, Texas to parents, Richard Carson Baird and Alice Lee McEntire Baird. He passed away December 23, 2022 in Kingwood, Texas at the age of 83. Phillip proudly served our country in the US Navy. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Phillip was an avid reader and loved crossword puzzles. He enjoyed watching the Houston Astros but he was a huge Dallas Cowboy fan. Phillip worked in the construction industry and the greatest love of his life was his family. He loved spending time with them and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Carson Baird and Alice Lee Baird; brother, Billy James Baird; sister, Patricia Ann McNamee; granddaughter, Cassietta Denson. He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Virginia Kruse Baird; children, Phillip Doyle Baird Jr and wife Rhonda, William Carson Baird and wife Sherina, Kathy Lee Hayman and husband Kenneth, and Twana Ann Denson; grandchildren, Jaysun Denson. Lacey Denson, Carson James Baird, Kathryn Leigh Baird, Kenneth Charles Hayman, Isabelle Baird, and Phillip Connor Hayman. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the First Methodist Church in Splendora at 11:30am with Rev. Stephen Lightfoot officiating.
