Peggy Sue Gibson Clark, 60, of Lumberton passed away Sunday, February 17, 2019. She was born April 28, 1958 in Pasadena to parents, Lawrence A. Gibson and Ocey Audrey Martiin.
Graveside service for Peggy will be 12:30 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2019 at Palms Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Friday before the service at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brett Massey, Josh Svoboda, Greg Young, Sarah Losolla, Bobby Losolla, Lorenzo Losolla, Garrett Gates, and Jacoby Gibson.
Peggy was a great mother and grandmother. Most of all she loved her granddaughter, Brittney and loved her family dearly. She enjoyed everything to do with outdoors and was specifically good at hunting and fishing. Peggy was an amazing cook, loved gardening and also had a love for motorcycles. She was a very hard worker and could make something out of nothing. Peggy had a way of making people smile and could always turn a bad situation good. She had a passion and love for her animals and had a way of touching everything around her.
Peggy was preceded in death by her mother, Ocey Scott; her son, Holton Kennedy, III; sisters, Connie McCants and Debbie Burt. She is survived by son, Colby Landrum; grandchild, Brittney Landrum; father, Lawrence Gibson and wife Vernna; sister, Pat Massey; brother, Larry Gibson and wife Pam; also numerous other relatives and friends
