Peggy LuAnne Lee, age 57, of Cleveland, Texas formerly of Benton Harbor, Michigan, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2011. Rev. Perry Cathey will conduct memorial services being held Saturday, January 8th, 2011, 1:00 p.m. at her son, Chris Perdue’s home in Cleveland, Texas. Peggy was born May 1, 1953 in Battle Creek, Michigan. She graduated from Benton Harbor High School in 1971 and was employed by Laser Graphics in Benton Harbor as an Embroidery Supervisor and Chief Executive Assistant for 21 years. Peggy was an avid NASCAR fan, loved crocheting and jewelry making. She was loved by many and will be greatly cherished and missed by numerous family members and treasured friends whose life she touched throughout the years of her special life. Our world will never be the same without her. She is survived by her children, Timothy (Sally) Perdue of Hartford, Michigan, and Christopher (Misty) Perdue of Cleveland, Texas; six grandchildren, Timothy Jr. and Katelynn of Hartford, Michigan, Darwin, Christopher, Lonna and Serenity of Cleveland, Texas; stepmother, Sandy Whaley of Covert, Michigan; brother, George (Wendy) Whaley of Eau Claire, Michigan; sisters, Elva (Vern) Fisher, Eau Claire, Michigan, and Jill Whaley of Breedsville, Michigan; stepbrother, Jim Hunt; stepsister, Sue (John) Rodriquez, both of Covert, Michigan; eight nieces and nephews, four great-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Polly Jaggers-Lowery and her father, George Whaley.
