Peggy Diane Barnett

Peggy Diane Barnett, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2024, in Liberty, Texas, at the age of 72. Born on December 20, 1951, in Houston, Texas, Peggy was the daughter of James William Barnett and Faye Barnett.

A devoted housewife and a pillar of strength, Peggy lived her life with simplicity, elegance, and a clear sense of right and wrong. Her unwavering love and dedication to her family defined her character. She raised her two sons, James Barnett and Michael Barnett, with a grace that earned her the heartfelt admiration of those closest to her. Her sons affectionately remember her as "the greatest woman who ever lived."

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Tinney Barnett and Joyce Barnett. Her legacy continues through her two sons and their families. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Katrisse Barnett, and her 20 cherished grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

A graveside service to honor Peggy's life will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton, Texas. Peggy will be remembered for her profound impact on those she loved and for the grace with which she lived her life. She will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
