Paul Hinton

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Paul Hinton, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and to many, a great friend. Paul was born on August 30, 1949, in Baytown and peacefully passed away at his home in Dayton on June 4, 2024.

He had resided in Dayton since 1977 and had previously lived in South Houston.

Paul led a fulfilling life characterized by his dedication to his work as a welder and his passion for rodeo events. His skill as a calf roper and bull rider earned him widespread recognition as a member of the Pro Rodeo Cowboy Association. Beyond his professional endeavors, Paul found immense joy in watching his children and grandchildren compete in rodeo events, cherishing those precious moments with pride.

In pursuit of knowledge and personal growth, Paul pursued higher education at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches and Sam Houston State University in Huntsville. He obtained Bachelor's Degrees in Agriculture and Science, showcasing his commitment to learning and academic excellence.

Paul's interests extended beyond the realm of work and education. He found solace in activities such as white tail deer hunting and attending rodeos, which brought him closer to his passion for the cowboy way of life. Additionally, he was a proud member of the American Welders Association and held a lifetime membership with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, where his contributions were highly valued.
