Patsy Ruth Strawther

Patsy Ruth Strawther, age 77, of Splendora, Texas, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Kingwood Medical Center. She was born November 11, 1934 in New Boston, Texas to parents James Arthur Patterson and Buena Edna (Wells) Patterson who preceded her in death along with her loving husband Nick Strawther; daughter Barbara Swearingen; and her brother Volley Patterson. Survivors include her daughter Arlene Stevens, Maris Kerr, and Debbie Young; step-daughter Betty Shapley; step-son Charles Strawther; sister-in-law Marion Patterson; grandchildren Kyle Poore, Cassandra Golden, Wendy Guptill, Niki Fergeson, Robert Roush, Kim Roush; great-grandchildren Aaron Rodriguez, Serenity Boykin, Austin Bradshaw, Matthew Fergeson, Justice Beeson, and Scout Guptill; numerous nieces, nephews and other cherished family members and a host of faithful friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2012, 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home, Cleveland, Texas. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 12, 2012, 10:00 a.m. at Pace-Stancil Chapel with interment following at Kidd Cemetery, New Caney, Texas.
