Patsy P. Hodges Wallace, 68, of Dayton, died Monday, March 15, 2010, at her daughter’s residence in Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 19, 2010, at the Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel with burial following at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Dayton. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Pace-Stancil Funeral Home in Dayton. Patsy was born July 13, 1941 in Doddridge, AR, to parents; Jesse and Era Westbrook Hodges, a former resident of Baytown, and has resided in the Dayton area for the past 25 years. She was a retired LVN, a nursing graduate of Lee College, member of the First Baptist Church of Dayton, and enjoyed cross stitch, needlepoint, bowling, gardening, fishing and reading. Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her father: Jesse Hodges and brother: J. C. Hodges. She is survived by her husband of 47 years: Scott E. Wallace, Jr. of Dayton, daughters: Rhonda Campbell and husband Roger Dale of Dayton, Amber Boyd of Dayton, and Rebecca Wallace of Humble, mother: Era Westbrook Hodges of Quanah, sisters: Peggy Pruitt and husband Tommy of Quanah and Barbara Davenport and husband Chester of Pflugerville, grandchildren: Lindsay Campbell, Cameron Boyd, and Shelby Boyd, great-grandchildren: Cadence Campbell and Brayden Boyd, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
