Patricia Ann Bourque Harrington

Patricia "Trish" Ann Bourque Harrington, born on August 30, 1960, in Abbeville, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025, in Huntley, Illinois. She was a beacon of warmth and joy, known for her radiant smile and infectious laughter that could light up any room.

Trish began her career as a waitress in her younger years, where her vibrant personality and dedication shone through. With a deep commitment to her education, she pursued a path in medical billing and coding, proudly graduating at the top of her class. Her professional journey led her to the University of Missouri (Mizzou), where she contributed her skills for over fifteen years.

Trish’s life was enriched by the love she found in Curlen Harrington, whom she met, while living in Pecan Island, at the Forked Island Rock-A-By. Their romance blossomed, leading to marriage and a beautiful life together and then they moved to Dayton. Following the passing of her beloved husband, she moved to Columbia, Missouri, before relocating due to illness to be with her daughter in Illinois, where she spent her final days.

Among her many passions, Trish cherished the great outdoors and delighted in observing the blooming flowers, as well as watching birds and squirrels. Her love for food was complemented by her enjoyment of game shows and playing dice and cards, activities that brought her immense joy during her leisure time.

Trish held her family close to her heart, sharing her life with her two devoted daughters, Jodi "Bea" Plauck and her husband Andy, and Anna Steen Caswell and her husband Nate. Trish took immense pride in her grandchildren, including Courtney "BeaBea" Becker and her husband Jerome, Jude Jamison, Corrine Caswell, and Sara Jamison and her fiancé Lucas Hites, along with her great-granddaughter, Margot Hites.

She is also survived by her sisters Ruby Broussard, Veronica Touchet, Helen Stanisky, and Judy Shipperbottom, and her brothers Gordon Bourque and Jesse Bourque.

Trish was preceded in death by her husband Curlen Harrington, her father Murphy Bourque, her mother Electa Sturlese Bourque, and her siblings Eugene Bourque, Norman Bourque, James Bourque, Wayne Bourque, and Catherine Miller.

Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, who remember her not only for her achievements but also for the love she shared, particularly her affection for her grand-dogs, Waylon, Loretta, and Paisley May. Trish was a proud and devoted family member, leaving behind cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
